Occupied Japan Donkey & Cart Ceramic Planter

Charming mid-century ceramic planter featuring a pale green donkey pulling a textured wagon-style cart. Soft shades of mint green, blue, brown and cream give this piece a wonderful nostalgic look, complete with detailed wheels, harness and expressive donkey face. Marked Made in Occupied Japan on the underside, dating the piece to the postwar era. Measures approximately 6½" long. The open cart is perfect for a small plant, succulent, faux greenery or simply displayed as a collectible piece of Japanese ceramic décor.
