Vintage Bally Elephant Horse Floral Print Large Shoulder Tote Rare vintage Bally large textile shoulder bag featuring an extraordinary mixed print of decorated elephants, horses, florals and ornate border motifs in deep navy, rust, red, cream and gold. The pattern has the richness of a vintage scarf print, with different motifs flowing across each side of the bag. An especially unusual Bally design, finished with dark navy shoulder straps, brown leather trim and substantial gold-tone hardware. The front features Bally’s older-style rounded logo plaque with classic serif lettering and screw detailing, while the zip-top closure is finished with coordinating oversized BALLY plaque zipper pulls. The interior is lined in soft gray fabric and carries an additional small gold-tone serif BALLY plaque. The combination of serif branding, hardware design, interior treatment and construction is consistent with an earlier Bally piece, likely dating to approximately the late 1980s to early 1990s.
