Vintage Green Wool Fur Collar Coat With Yellow Buttons

Stunning true vintage 1960s swing coat in a vibrant chartreuse/acid green textured bouclé-style fabric. Features an oversized genuine fur collar with matching dramatic fur cuffs, 3/4-length sleeves, an A-line swing silhouette, green satin lining, and three oversized translucent yellow statement buttons. No maker, size, or fiber content tags remain. Bettijean has been suggested as a possible maker based on comparable period coats, but the maker is unconfirmed. Fur species is unknown. Buttons have not been tested or authenticated as Bakelite. CONDITION: This is a well-loved vintage piece with significant age-related wear. Pilling is present throughout, along with several small moth holes/areas of fabric wear. The lining is separating/detached along the bottom and has additional holes, marks, and wear.
