This is a Boutique/Location Exclusive tee which was produced in small quantities as a souvenir t-shirt for locals & visitors of the store. This was my friend’s shirt & was purchased around 2005. I know this b/c during that time period we would frequent the massive lines on Bleecker (NYC) waiting to get into the small crammed store to snag tees, totes, accessories etc; anything with Marc Jacobs namesake on it. During that period Marc Jacobs released souvenir tees based on city locations of his stores. I bought NYC & London and so did my friend. But later, they upstaged me by not only visiting the Newbury St. location without me, but acquiring this Boston tee that’s up for sale here. Color: Cream w/ Charcoal Gray Graphic & Address on Back Condition & T-Shirt Details: Good pre-owned vintage condition. The shirt is made to look distressed such as the neckline & the edges of the sleeves. Also, bottom hem is a raw/rolled hem. There’s a tiny hole on the left sleeve (see last pic). Also, there’s a small bluish mark within the seam of the left shirt sleeve. The care instructions tag is cut out (which my friend would habitually remove on most garments). There’s soft blurred discolorations mainly on the back & sleeves in no regular pattern which I believe is due to a dye-transfer wash to make the tee look distressed, edgy & worn in. This was characteristic of some of Marc Jacobs tees. Up-close photos of sleeves are front & back. Check out pics. See measurements in comments.
