Vintage Timex Gold-Tone cushion Case with Champagne Dial and Black Leather Strap

1970 Timex Electric, I have owned many of these and this watch is the cleanest, finest example I have ever had. Running perfectly. Has date window at the 3:00 position. The champagne colored dial has an almost Linen texture to it. I tried to capture it in the photos. The crystal is near perfect with only a small scratch or possibly a crack at the bottom 5:00 area that can only be seen in just the right light. I managed to get a good zoomed in picture of it. These vintage Timex Electric models are an interesting part of watchmaking history, representing the transition from traditional mechanical watches to battery-powered timekeeping before quartz watches became dominant. A great piece for a vintage Timex collector, electric-watch collector, or someone looking for an unusual vintage daily wearer. Watch only — no original box or paperwork.
