This is an authentic "Old Celine" barrel bag (est. mid-late 1970s-early 1980s; the Céline Vipiana family era, pre Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy/pre-Michael Kors), vintage, naturally aged and distressed, chic. Super unique!! This bag is a cylindrical, drum-shaped bag with C Sulky monogram canvas in khaki and burgundy, naturally distressed gray leather trim and base, brass zips, and sparkling gold-tone hardware. (Note: the buckle looks like it might be gold plated brass, because of how shiny it is, and it lacks any tarnish given the bag's age and overall condition, but I am not certain.) The lining, hardware, zippers, and canvas are in amazing shape for its age!!! No stains, no tears, no foul odor. The leather is naturally aged and distressed. The ends have lost some of their shape, but are still firm and strong. I washed the canvas + lining and conditioned the leather. The hardware on the zippers and buckle is so beautiful I didn't need to polish anything. Keep it as is, or have it restored - sold as is, no returns. It's a gorgeous collectible, and also trendy, since "distressed luxury" is apparently in!
