60s Anker Mohair Lion with Google Eyes &‎ Original Tag / Vintage Germany

Rare vintage Anker stuffed mohair lion Medium length mane and haired tail, Google eyes, stitched red nose, and original two sided foil tag attached. Anker is a lesser known Germany mohair animal manufacturer that competed with the likes of Steiff in the 1950s through the 1970's when the company was absolved. 1950's chest tags featured a bear and an anchor, then changed to a lion and an anchor which is present on this toy. Condition: Vintage. Left ear is damaged, half missing, a few left whiskers are short, left front paw is missing some mohair. Tail is attached but may need to be restitched to tighten.
