Striking vintage textured apparel fabric featuring an elaborate Asian-inspired floral and ornamental stripe print in black, charcoal, smoky blue-gray and silver-gray tones.
The design runs in horizontal bands across the width, alternating stylized lotus-like flowers, scrolling motifs, geometric details and decorative borders. Several bands have a softly mottled appearance that adds depth to the print.
The fabric has a distinctive fine crinkled/crepe-like texture visible throughout and appears lightweight and fluid. Fiber content is unmarked; likely a synthetic or blend, possibly polyester or rayon/poly. Exact content unknown.
Approximately 3⅓ yards × 44” wide.
Likely 1980s to early 1990s vintage. Excellent yardage for a flowing dress, skirt, blouse, kimono-style jacket, wide-leg pants or other apparel project that takes advantage of the striped design.
Condition: Vintage unused yardage; please review photos for texture, print, edges and overall condition.
Measurements: approx. 3⅓ yards × 44”
Fiber: unknown, likely synthetic/blend
Texture: fine crinkle/crepe
Colors: black, charcoal, smoky blue-gray, gray
Pattern: floral, ornamental and geometric horizontal stripes
