ashleynblank@mlh92 Correct, they just have that little part at the bottom of the side. If you scroll to the pics of it on the mannequin you’ll be able to see the tab that keeps the bottom portion together on the right side photo, but if that tab gets undone it’s wide open.

ashleynblank@mlh92 There’s not really a “pit”, it’s sewn together at the top and the bottom and then the sides are completely open. Happy to grab the top measurement for you though if you’d like! 😊

ashleynblank@mlh92 It’s 46” across the top and if I measure about where the natural pit would be (about two inches south of where the upper pockets sit on the chest) I’m getting 16.5”. The bottom is 38” across - and I was mistaken. It’s not sewn together at the bottom. It’s held together by little tabs that button to the back. Let me know if you have any further questions. 😊
