Authentic Les Muserolles HERMÈS© Carre Large Silk Scarf

In excellent preowned condition vintage Hermès large 100% silk scarf. Renowned artist Christiane Vauzelles designed "Les Muserolles" in 1986 as an addition to Hermès ' vast catalog of fine scarves celebrating the Equestrian Arts. "Les Muserolles" refers to nose-bands (including bits) worn by horses. This scarf depicts an impressive knight in full armor astride a magnificent steed in the center. The horse's armor and regalia, including the wrought nose-bands, are equally awe inspiring! Warm earth tone shades of chocolate, sand and gold perfectly complement each other and promise many years of wear. Made in France. The Les Muserolles Hermès© carré is in my opinion quite gorgeous as its beauty lies in its “open” and uncluttered composition lending this scarf a light and airy quality … The Les Muserolles will add just the right amount of interest and color without being overpowering, overbearing. Please note tag is missing and there is a very small area on the dark blue border where the fabric is a bit worn. You can’t see it unless you focus closely on the area. See last photo.
