Vintage 1960s Double Strand Wood Bead Necklace Adjustable Statement Choker

Vintage, natural wood, graduating oval bead necklace with gold color accent beads. Please note: the gold spacers are non-metallic, suggesting they are likely a brass or copper base material. The end-to-end length is 17”, with the extender tail offering approximately 2 1/2” of adjustability. The fastener is a classic vintage hook-and-tail, or "shepherd’s hook". The tail side offers a single strand of alternating beads, allowing adjustability in length. The piece was likely made in the 1950’s-1960’s, based on the design elements, including the clasp mechanism, multi-strand construction and material combination. Excellent vintage condition. The wood beads retain a beautiful, smooth surface with no cracking or splitting detected. The gold color spacers are shiny with minimal age related wear.
