Symbolizing warmth, health, and prosperity, these enduring textiles are historical family heirlooms vital to Ukrainian cultural rituals. This authentic lizhnyk was crafted between the 1960s and 1980s. Its wide 53"x82" seamless build shows it was made on mid-century wide looms, rather than early narrow styles. Hand-spun yarn variations and raw, manually tied warp fringe show true artisan production. Decades of natural aging have given the cream wool a warm vanilla patina.
