Fully-lined cap-sleeved maxi dress is A-line in style with pockets and an inverted box-pleated skirt that floats as you walk. Beautiful rhinestone beading adorns the neckline and down the front. It’s the only embellishment needed because the sheen of the Mikado polyester satin fabric steals the show! This elegant twilight blue “Embellished Marta” Gown is made by Sachin & Babi. It is a size 12 that was professionally hemmed (1 in. removed) and slightly altered in the shoulders and arm holes. I am 5’6”” and wore 2-1/4 inch heels, and I typically wear a 12 or 14 dress. The gown has been dry cleaned and has no visible stains or flaws. Any wrinkles from shipping can easily be removed with a steamer. The dress is still available for purchase new on the Sachin & Babi website for $995. From sachin&babi.com: The Marta gown speaks to a refined elegance, the epitome of timeless, elevated personal style. The floor-length silhouette is partially inspired by the impeccable tailoring of a "shirt style" fit. A banded collar and tonal crystal embellishment trace the center front placket of the gown, concealing a front button closure, a self-belt, and hidden micro elastic at the waist giving this dress an ease of fit. Our first foray into a solid color for this beloved silhouette fell between a sky blue and azure, so it became "Twilight", the time of day when everything looks a bit more magical.
