Sadly faux leather tends to “shed.” If you buy this jacket from anyone, it will do the same unfortunately. I bought this jacket thinking I’d avoided this issue, too, after seeing that this is a common issue with this jacket despite the high original price tag. I wish I knew more about sewing or embroidery—- I’d embroidery right over the shedding. Let me know if you need more images of the collar’s shedding. I guess this is normal for faux leather. Other than the shedding, the jacket looks pretty good. The fit is flattering and hits between my ribs and hips.
