LUCIEN NEUQUELMAN French Porcelain Figural Grouping Signed 20thC. Measures - 3.75” x 3" x 3". A French porcelain figural grouping by Neuguelman, depicting a couple seated on a tree stump with men holding a bouquet of flowers . The figures are colorful, showcasing intricate detailing and vibrant glazing typical of 20th-century French porcelain artistry. The piece is signed. Excellent condition. Lucien Neuquelman (1909-1988), famous French painter and ceramist from Paris, France. Neuquelman attended the School of Fine Arts of Toulon as well as The Grande Chaumière Academy (Académie de la Grande Chaumiere) in Paris in 1930. This petite blonde pottery lady is formally dressed in a blue floral and a lace pattern imprinted dress and is holding pink/red flower. She stands about 7 inches tall. This piece does not have any cracks or chips. The piece does have some rough edges or raw spots, but this is not damage, it is the style of pottery and is how the figurines are made. Beautifully impressive Mid-Century Modern, Vintage Majolica collectable piece.
