1950s–60s Vintage Aurora Borealis Rhinestone Wreath Brooch

Gorgeous 1950s–1960s vintage rhinestone brooch featuring a beautiful open wreath/circular design filled with sparkling Aurora Borealis (AB) rhinestones. The stones flash shades of pink, purple, gold, green and blue as they catch the light. Several larger round rhinestones are surrounded by smaller stones in an ornate silver-tone openwork setting. This style of AB rhinestone jewelry was especially popular during the mid-century era, particularly the 1950s and 1960s. The construction and pin hardware are also consistent with that approximate period. Unsigned. Traditional pin back with clasp. Condition: Vintage condition with age-related tarnishing/oxidation to the metal, particularly on the back and around the settings. Some rhinestones show age-related cloudiness/discoloration, but the piece still has wonderful colorful sparkle. Please see photos for condition.
