Villa Red Handled Potato Cutter - Heavy-Duty Kitchen Tool

Heavy-duty red-handled potato cutter. Solid wood handle and sturdy metal construction. A nice addition to your vintage kitchen tools. The red paint on the handle is dull. There are surface scratches, some deeper gouge-like areas and black marks on the handle. The wood does not appear to be cracked. The handle was repainted sometime prior to me buying. There’s no active orange rust but the vintage kitchen tool has much patina over all of the metal surfaces. The mechanism works as it should if you were making French Fries. There’s the remainder of some old masking tape on the bottom. It was put there before I bought it. I was unable to remove it. The information embedded in the metal says this is called 'The "Villa" Potato Chipper' It’s not easy to read but there’s a Pat. number, a Reg. number and 'Made in England'. Sold as is from a cat friendly, smokers home. A nice addition for your vintage kitchenalia collection. #94 B8
