Escada by Margaretha Ley, circa early 90s. Dark navy wool blazer with a red collar and Escada-logo jacquard lining. Covered in hand-embroidered motifs in red and gold – a dragon/creature, crown, roses, paisley, ring with flames – front and back. Three-button front, flap pockets, decorative sleeve buttons. Excellent vintage condition, no flaws noted. Labeled US 40, fits approximately US 8. Margaretha Ley was known for bringing genuine humor and craft to her pieces – this one has it in spades. A real collector’s item.
