Large vintage turkey platter matching the discontinued Blue Ridge Southern Pottery “Turkey with Acorns” pattern. The hand-painted design features a central turkey, bundles of harvested stalks and a border of alternating oak leaves and acorns. Blue Ridge dinnerware was made by Southern Potteries in Erwin, Tennessee. Many authentic pieces were produced without backstamps, as this one appears to have been. Likely dating to the 1950s, this substantial platter can be used for Thanksgiving serving or displayed as part of a vintage fall collection.
