Another beautiful gemstone from the mystery lot that I have not yet had time to test. It was labeled as a paraiba tourmaline, and it is very bright and glowy in person. Depending on the lighting, it shows as different shades of light aqua green or bluish aqua and is very sparkly. It is visibly included, which I prefer because it helps distinguish it from synthetic, and I think gives stones a natural, unique charm. I have my fingers crossed that this one matches the label, but until I am able to send it off for testing to confirm, this is being posted as a mystery gemstone and sold at a huge discount! According to the information I do have, this is a Paraiba Tourmaline, Mozambique origin, weighing approximately 1.42 carats, and measuring 7.5 x 6.4 x 5 mm, and shows signs of being heat treated. I HAVE been testing gems from this lot as I can (it's expensive so I'm only doing a few at a time here and there), and I've gotten feedback from others who have purchased these. Quite a few have turned out to be emeralds, aquamarine, paraiba tourmalines, and sapphires. I may need to stop letting these go! Please feel free to ask questions!
