I have had these for about one billion years and just haven't been wearing them lately. The leather upper needs conditioning and definitely has creasing and scuffs and discoloration in a variety of places, but functionally, the leather has plenty of life left. I had Vibram outsoles added years ago so I didn't slide all over the place wearing them in wet or wintry weather. They're not in perfect shape — see photos — but should have some life remaining. I would assume these need to go to a cobbler fairly soon either way. NOTE: The insoles are in rough shape: these are a good candidate for someone who knows they'll put another insole in anyway, or someone with a good cobbler. I can't really get a camera that far into the boots to get a good photo, but please be aware that the leather insole areas are in need of repair.
