She has officially survived two World Wars, the invention of sliced bread, and over a century of family stories… all while looking this elegant.
For more than 100 years, this lovely sugar bowl has somehow escaped the fate of so many antiques. No major cracks, no dramatic repairs—just one tiny flea bite chip on the underside of the bottom rim that politely hides where no one will notice unless they're inspecting her résumé.
The soft pink flowers, graceful Art Nouveau curves, and delicate gold accents still make quite the entrance. Whether you're completing a collection or simply love antiques with a story, this little lady still has plenty of chapters left to write.
• Antique porcelain covered sugar bowl
• Hand painted floral Art Nouveau design
• Signed and dated 1911
• Soft pink blossoms with sage green scrollwork
• Gold trim on handles and lid
• Original lid
Excellent antique condition, especially considering age. One tiny chip is present on the bottom rim (see photos). It does not distract from the display or use of the piece. No cracks or repairs noted. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description.
🐓 Farm Gossip
She arrived acting like porcelain royalty… and honestly, nobody argued. The cows tried to nominate her for "Prettiest Thing in the House," but she declined with remarkable grace.
