Vintage advertising ink blotter for Ogle Construction Co. of Chicago (175 W. Jackson Blvd.), makers of locomotive, coal, ash and sand plants (steam and diesel). Face features "Scottish Shipyard" by artist Noel Leaver, depicting the Queen Mary under construction, with caption noting her great size and speed which enabled her to rush entire divisions into the war without convoy, and an accident in which she knifed a British cruiser in two. Includes a printed March 1950 calendar with February and April reference calendars.
