These are gorgeous tear dropped shaped deep dark London blue topaz stones which measure 7/8" top to bottom and 3/8" side to side at their widest point. The necklace is 18" long and the drop itself measures 2" long. The necklace is not marked as silver but it does not stick to a magnet and silver won't stick. swanslove@joslynntrudeau I have never seen a silver plated item that doesn't stick to a magnet. Admittedly you have to look for it because it just BARELY sticks but it does. So it's your choice hon.

swanslove@joslynntrudeau I just checked this again to make sure I am correct. This necklace doesn't stick at all. Even the clasp doesn't, which is unusual. Usually a silver item's clasp will stick to a magnet.

joslynntrudeauHello I really like this necklace but, can’t wear plated or brass metals and you say it’s not marked how can you be certain it’s sterling silver? I know silver doesn’t stick to magnets but, silver plated doesn’t either :/
