Vintage 50's Fur Coat Master Furriers Duluth Dark Brown Fits Size Small 6 Jacket

Master Furriers Duluth Fur Coat Dark Brown No size but shown on my size 6 mannequin and an excellent fit Measurements: Shoulder to shoulder across the front = 15.25" Chest (armpit to armpit) = 19.75" Length (top of shoulder to hem) = 23.5" Sleeves = 20.25" I did a lot of research about this jacket.  Master Furriers of Duluth was known for it's mid-century "Furs of Distinction" It was a prominent high-end furrier established in the 1930's and closed in 1958. So, this coat is dated somewhere in that time frame.  They were known for luxury mink, fox and beaver coats. I believe this coat is beaver. This jacket is gorgeous! The fur is in excellent condition! The lining does have an area that is loose toward the top shoulder. I didn't want to make any repairs but it could easily be stitched if desired or worn as is, it would not be seen when worn.  There are two hooks for clousure. It can be closet at about the center of the jacket. There is another hook further up if you want to secure the top area but the side that it hooks to is missing. It didn't leave any marks or evidence of it ever being there. So, you can wear it as is if you don't want to close it up at the top.  There is embroidered initials inside which is characteristic of high end furs back in those days.
