Set of 3 Japanese Lacquerware Nesting Serving Trays Blue Irises Woven Handles

Beautiful blue and green irises adorn these vintage Japanese lacquerware nesting trays. The trays have a black glossy finish, gold tone accents and woven handles. The colors of the irises are still very vibrant. These trays would be a unique way to display your favorite collection, could be used as serving trays or as lovely stand alone decor bringing style to any room. These nesting tray sets were manufactured in Japan in the 1960's and 1970's. Pre-owned condition with general signs of wear, some diminishing of the glossy finish on the inner edges of the smaller tray. Wear is mostly noticeable on the bottoms of the trays. Faint scratching on the larger tray, with one that is more noticeable. See last photos for issues of wear. Overall these trays are in beautiful vintage condition and would be a lovely addition to any collection.
