Carved Onyx Horse Head Bookends - Cream & Brown Striations

Crafted in Mexico, these solid, heavy bookends feature the stunning natural translucent bands and warm amber tones characteristic of high-quality onyx stone, securely mounted on polished white marble bases. Condition: Excellent/Good vintage condition. The original "Made in Mexico" label/sticker is still intact on the piece. Note on Stone: There are some minor rough edges along the carved details (as shown in photos). These appear consistent with the hand-carved artisanal process and natural stone characteristics rather than post-production damage, but please review all photos closely to judge for yourself. Wear Note: Please note there is a visible impact chip on the back edge of one horse's neck (see close-up photo), along with minor flea bites. This does not impact the structural integrity or display quality when facing forward, but the price has been adjusted accordingly.
