Lady Empire Oven Proof Permacal plates (2).
"Starflower" pattern in abstract floral motif that gives hints of atomic-era influence in dinnerware patterns.
Small approximate 7.4" size makes them perfect for salad, bread & butter, desserts, appetizers.
Light cream-tone, silver-tone band that was referred to as "platinum", green and pink floral pattern.
In overall nice vintage condition. Some crazing (more on one plate), dark spots from shelf-sitting, one plate has small area of wear (or a manufacturing skip) around the "platinum" rim. See last few photos for examples.
Though from the 1950s, they also have a bit of a modern look to them. Pattern is simplistic enough to blend with other dinnerware.
A pretty plate to hang.
