Vintage PK Unity German Porcelain Lusterware Bird & Floral Pitcher

A refined porcelain pitcher featuring vibrant hand-painted bird motifs set against flowering branches, accented with a bold orange rim and gilded detail. PK Unity is a vintage brand of German porcelain produced by Porzellanfabrik Kahla in Thuringia, Germany, during the early 20th century (primarily the 1920s and 1930s). Aesthetic: It features a vibrant, iridescent orange or peach luster glaze around the top rim and spout. Details: The body is accented with a delicate gold-gilded repeating geometric or foliate border separating the orange glaze from the white body. Central Motif: The central graphic displays hand-painted exotic birds (typically golden pheasants or paradise songbirds) perched on a blooming pink cherry blossom branch. The base bears the PK Unity makers mark, as well as 34. 472/4. Incised into the base along the rim. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minimal wear to the Lusterware (light scratching)and gold gilding and no apparent chips or cracks, which preserves its full market value. See all photos.
