This vintage blue and white ginger jar was made in China, and is large, at 11.25" high with lid. It's about 8" in diameter at its widest point, and features a Double Happiness pattern with phoenix and flowers. It weighs just over 3.5# I think the lid is a marriage of a mismatched piece, as it doesn't fit perfectly and the pattern, while close, is not exact. The jar has one section of brown speckles that seem to be embedded in the glaze, see close-up.
