Lot of 16 vintage color photographs documenting a Polynesian cultural pageant show on a tropical lagoon, most likely the Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu, Hawaii, based on the thatched-roof huts, stone footbridge, canoe stage, and costumed dancers (unconfirmed by signage). Subjects include scenic lagoon views with palm trees and thatched pavilions, a decorated pink outrigger canoe laden with tropical flowers, and a recurring canoe-pageant sequence showing costumed Polynesian performers and dancers in grass skirts, floral leis, and pink/tan dresses performing on floating canoe platforms while paddled and poled across the water, watched by tourist crowds on shore. Several images appear to capture the same performance sequence from different angles, forming a loose narrative set. All photos are color prints with notable age-related color shift (magenta/pink and warm orange casts typical of 1970s Kodak film stock); overall quality ranges from fair to soft/faded, with a few images noticeably faded (quality 2). No captions or handwriting appear on the fronts. Sizes are standard snapshot prints. Associated with the estate of USAF Col. Patricia Jane Harrington. Please review photos for condition.
