Lot of 6 vintage color photographs, 6x4 inches, documenting U.S. and multinational SFOR/IFOR peacekeeping operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, circa 1999. Images include: a windshield view of a convoy with a Mitsubishi Pajero marked 'JVB 2' and an armored personnel carrier on a dirt road near a construction site; a convoy of APCs and support trucks parked beside a long white barracks building under stormy skies; a wooden guard tower and satellite-equipped tanker truck in a gravel checkpoint yard with shipping containers and hills beyond; two soldiers in camouflage and green berets climbing steps toward a bullet-scarred, war-damaged multi-story building set against karst mountains, possibly near Mostar; a striking image of multinational officers, including a high-ranking female USAF officer, gathered at an elevated observation post overlooking a valley and airstrip; and a moving-vehicle shot of a tan APC marked 'SF' passing a camouflage-netted warehouse and storage containers. One photo bears a 07/99 date marking on the back, consistent with the estate timeframe. Prints show typical light handling wear and minor edge softness; please review photos for condition details. Strong grouping of ground-operations imagery: checkpoints, armor, damaged structures, and command personnel, likely from the same active-duty tour. Photos are associated with the estate of USAF Col. Patricia Jane Harrington. Please review photos for condition.
