1920's Silk Net Basket & Floral Embroidered Slip Dress

Amazing 1920's slip dress in a cream toned woven silk. This piece features intricate and dense floral embroidery surrounding 3 meticulous net baskets displayed across the yoke. Embroidered v-neckline and sleeve openings, elegant midi-long length with a relaxed straight bodied fit. Complete with two small bottom side slits, expert construction, relatively lightweight silk with beautiful drape and soft to the touch. Estimated modern size M. Bust - 40-40.5" Length - 45.5" Very good antique condition - a few small breaks along arm openings/neckline as shown, some subtle signs of age/discolouration. Presents wonderfully and has lots of life left with a little care.
