This vintage sterling silver cuff bracelet is a striking piece of tribal artisan jewelry, featuring ornate craftsmanship and set with red gemstones. The wide cuff design incorporates intricate sterling silver wirework, filigree, and twisted rope details that form a geometric pattern around the gemstones, which may be garnets or amethyst. The gemstones look red to me but I cannot be certain. The bracelet has brass accents, specifically a brass insert visible on the interior sides, a common design element in some types of traditional jewelry. It is marked "925", indicating it is made of sterling silver (92.5% pure silver), and has a total weight of 32.2 grams. This cuff was obtained many years ago, maybe 40+, and I am uncertain its origin. I rarely wore it and it has been carefully tucked away until now. It is somewhat flexible and fits well on my sz 7 wrist. There is a beautiful sterling silver patina that some buyers prefer so I have left it. A substantial cuff with a weight of 32.2 gm. The measurement on the inside of the cuff is 5.5” with a 1.25” gap. This would be a great addition to any Southwest or vintage tribal ethnic jewelry collection.
