Tested 14k gold and beautiful authentic Australian white opal gemstone stud earrings. The iridescent white opal shows soft flashes of blue, green, red and pink. One opal has a soft bluish color and it shows a reddish color if you hold up to the sky from the back. They were purchased as a set with pendant in 1980 at Zales jewelry store. I’m selling the pendant separate. The pendant is marked 14k GF so I believe these earrings are 14k Gold Filled too. There’s a mark on back of one opal but I can’t read. Dimensions are 9mm x 7mm and the size of 1.5 carat each. They’re in very good condition to be 46 years old. Gold Fill is a much better technique than gold plated for you get a much thicker amount of gold on brass. These will last a lifetime if taken care of. The post backs are not original. These are perfect for everyday wear day and night.
