Lot of three original vintage black-and-white candid photographs showing American and Korean attendees at what appears to be a formal dinner, reception, or cultural-exchange gathering in South Korea, likely during the 1970s. The photographs show Korean women wearing traditional hanbok seated with American guests, including men who may have been connected with the U.S. military or a military-sponsored event. The images capture informal conversation and social interaction during the gathering and provide an interesting view of U.S.–Korean relations and daily social life during the Cold War period. Each photo measures 5" x 4" and was purchased from the estate sale of Col. Patricia Jane Harrington. These photographs are notably sharper and more professionally composed than typical family snapshots and may have been taken by a military public-affairs or base newspaper photographer. Original period photographs, not modern reproductions. Condition includes light surface wear, minor scratches, dust, edge wear, and age-related toning. Please examine the photographs carefully for condition and details.
