3 Vintage 1970s Namhae Bridge Korea Suspension Bridge Photos USAF South Korea

Lot of 3 original vintage color photographs showing Namhae Bridge in South Korea, believed taken circa 1975–1982. The red suspension bridge crosses the Noryang Strait between Hadong and Namhae Island and opened in 1973 as Korea's first suspension bridge. Two photographs provide excellent views of the bridge, red towers, mountainous shoreline, waterfront village and a passing speedboat. The third shows the surrounding harbor and coastal landscape. The pictures may have been taken from near the historic Namhaegak overlook, although the exact viewpoint is unconfirmed. Each rounded-corner photograph measures approximately 4.875 x 3.5 inches. Acquired from the Douglasville, Georgia estate of retired U.S. Air Force Colonel Patricia J. Harrington. Surviving AAFES photo-lab paperwork connects her with the 51st Composite Wing at Osan Air Base. Exact photographer and date are unknown. Condition includes fading, light reddish color shift, scratches, surface wear and other age-related imperfections. Please review all images carefully. Sold together as one lot.
