quin289 Hi, yes, this actually happened to me. I sent a pair of Saint Laurent Andy shoes to a buyer, and she opened a case claiming that the shoes she received weren’t the same ones I had listed. PM ended up closing the case in my favor. Now I videotape everything. I take photos of the item, the packaging, the shipping label, and the package before I send it out. It was definitely a lesson learned. Thankfully, it wasn’t a large amount of money, but next time it could be, so I’d rather protect myself.

montoyadeperez I truly can’t still believe Poshmark sided with her and not asked her to return it instead they got upset and mentioned if I keep on opening the case they were going to banned me from Posh that is just rude

sting_2427 @montoyadeperez I had a similar case with my Jo Malone bottle 🫩 buyer is almost similar to the one u dealt with. She managed to keep the full bottle BN perfume. I think they know posh is strict with such items. Any cases involving perfume….. is tough

joana_resendes Oh my gosh, it happened to me about over a month ago sold a nice pair of sunglasses. On top off it I had a bad feeling about my sale. Then she open a case saying I put the wrong sunglasses. I’m an honest person, and I would never do that. As I always say, karma will come back to does people that are ripping off others.

montoyadeperez @joana_resendes My problem was mine was brand new still sealed in the packaging just as I bought it, so she claimed that when she opened it it was the wrong product, no way it could have been as I got it brand new

leigh0ann @montoyadeperez Yes and it’s 100% seller risk as we are not allowed to sell perfume or nail polish as the carriers wont ship anything flammable.

annamscloset @montoyadeperez, I understand your frustration. However, this post might lead to your account being closed. Perfume is not allowed on Poshmark due to flammability concerns during postage. This is a Poshmark policy. It was the mailing company that disallowed perfumes and aerosols. But thank you for the heads-up regarding this buyer. Hope you get more sales to cover the losses from this one.
