Vintage 70s United Airlines Faux Leather Carry On Bag Tan Tulip Logo Exclusive

This bag is in good vintage condition as it has some discoloration and marks on the leather but overall is in good condition. Condition is exactly as shown in photos. This is an original vintage United Airlines carry-on travel bag dating back to the 1970s. It prominently features the iconic "Tulip" logo. This legendary piece of branding was introduced by United Airlines in 1974. The bag is constructed from a textured tan faux-leather vinyl with red and blue accent stripes running horizontally along the front pocket. It includes two sturdy top handles for hand-carrying as well as a long, adjustable shoulder strap attached via metal clasps on the sides. Bags like this were heavily used during the "Friend Ship" era of flight, both as flight attendant/stewardess cabin bags and as premium promotional giveaway items for frequent fliers.
