Framed aviation display featuring a color photograph of Lockheed Model 18-56 Lodestar N631LS in flight, with a smaller snapshot of a Delta Air Lines captain (four-stripe uniform) and a female crew member posing beside a Delta jet at what appears to be Hamburg Airport, Germany, mounted at the lower left. The main photo carries a handwritten inscription in ink on the sky area: "To Tom, Tailwinds Always, Winnie." About the aircraft: N631LS (c/n 18-2404) is a well-documented survivor. It was built in April 1943 for the U.S. Navy as an R5O-5 staff transport (BuNo 12474), civilianized in 1950, and upgraded by Howard Aero of San Antonio in 1962. It flew as the corporate aircraft of Lone Star Brewing from 1966 to 1975 — the source of its "LS" registration — and remains on the FAA register today, making this a great piece for Lodestar and warbird enthusiasts. Details: • Lockheed Model 18-56 Lodestar, registration N631LS, shown in flight with gear retracting • Inset photo of Delta Air Lines captain and crew member on the ramp • Handwritten inscription "To Tom, Tailwinds Always, Winnie" on the photo Condition: Very good overall. Light surface scratches/scuffs visible on the main photo, a small nick to the inner mat edge below the image, and minor wear to the frame. Please review all photos for condition. Secure packaging and fast shipping.
