This Elie Tahari Dress is just stunning. Elie Tahari is the top tier of all of the Tahari lines. The bodice on this dress is low cut and trimmed in scalloped black lace. Another layer of fabric twists and drapes right under the bust line, Grecian style, and goes all around to the back. The straps look like wide grosgrain ribbon, and there is tulle-like trim where they connect to the silk bodice of the dress. The shell is gauzy black silk, and it has the most amazing green silk lining that gives a wonderful effect under the black. There is side boning, and a back zipper. The interior hem is encircled with black lace, which shows the detail that went into this dress. (Elie Tahari is the most high end tier of the Tahari line.) The label says Size 6 but it is late vintage, so it fits more like an XS/S, depending on your measurements: My dress form is a Size 2 & her measurements are 34-24-34. The dress measures 16 to 17” underarm to underarm, and the waist is 13” across. 41” long. Condition is excellent, with no flaws.
