Ohhhhh man! I bought these back in July of 2020 to bring on a trip to Cali that August as the world was reopening. Let me tell you, I was so disappointed when I couldn't button them. I hung them up and with every closet clean out, I held onto them hoping I could get back to my pre-baby body and fit in them... but it never happened 😕 these are 100% linen and have ZERO stretch. I was scared I would rip them like a potato sack if I even tried to sit in them, that's how non existent the stretch is 😂 they are very well made though. The front pockets are very deep. These do you have a zipfly with two buttons. In the pictures you can see there is a replacement button attached as well. *I am not entirely sure, but it looks like the little tie-waist can be removed and swapped out with a different belt to style it with. The original listing on J. Crew's website says, "These stripey linen pants have a straight, slightly cropped leg and thoughtful details like a tie waist and patch pockets at the front. P.S. They're not lined, which makes them great for the beach." These are high rise and fitted at waist, with the same width wide leg all the way down. Measurements are approximate, I tried to get all the most important numbers for reference. I also put stock photos so y'all would see what they're supposed to look like on. *my home is smoke free and full of four-legged children
