Lovely high end iconic vintage piece marked “© Giovanni”, the trademark of a costume floral jewelry line created by Longcraft in the early 60’s. Extremely popular - This “Snow Rose” is the line’s iconic piece, based on “The Legend of the Christmas Rose”, a rose that blooms in snowy mountains on Xmas Eve - also known as the Rose of Christ. While this piece is technically costume in a rosy gold tone, its detail is considered a masterpiece of art, & is compared to Givenchy. This is one of the older original versions. Utterly beautiful.
