The pouch has some minor tarnish on the metal. The strap can be used on the tote or the pouch, the pouch snaps into the tote, but then can be removed and used as a clutch or a bag with the strap. Leather is soft and lovely, with only very minor signs of wear. Corners are clean. 100% authentic, I personally purchased these items from Cuyana.
