Vintage Handmade 1960s Party Dress with Velvet Bodice and Gold Patterned Skirt

This is a vintage 1960s handmade party dress with a black velvet bodice and a skirt with a bold black and gold bold geometric pattern in heavyweight fabric. Please note the custom dressmaker’s label and hand stitching on the hem and interior neck. This is a one-of-a-kind special dress. You’d be the only one at the party with one like it! It is in beautiful condition. It was made in Portland, Maine. While this was presented as a size 12, please note the measurements, as sizes were different back then.
