Add a pop of retro charm to your tea service with the stunning piece of Walkure "Luisa" porcelain cup and saucer set. Crafted by renowned Erste Bayreuther Porzellanfabrik in the Walkure Bayreuth, Bavaria factory in the mid 1960's. The SPM in the mark indicate the founder of the factory, Siegmund Paul Meyer. The 2666a/73 handwritten numbers on the bottom of the cup relate to both the mold and the pattern. The set is trimmed in 22K gold with minimal signs of wear on the underside of the handle on the cup. The cup measures 2 inches H and the saucer is 4 1/2" diameter. This set is part of the factory's "Extra Fine" series and was prized for is durability and high quality finish. The color is a bold orange and bright white which captures the MCM aesthetic. This set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and only the slight wear on the handle of the cup which you can see in the photo. I reuse good quality Amazon boxes when I can in my effort to Recycle, Renew and especially Reuse.
