1980s Chainmail Crossbody Aluminum Mesh Shoulder Bag

Vintage Aluminum Mesh Shoulder Bag from the 1980s, Disco Era, Made in Hong Kong. Metal Snake Shoulder Chain. 9”x 7” with a 17” Shoulder Drop. Faux Leather Lining. The Lining is the only thing showing its age with peeling due to use. Just peeling, no dry rot. It utilizes light taupe or cream-colored enamel-coated aluminum scales interwoven into a flexible "chainmail" textile. The design is accented with a gold-tone or silver-tone metal chevron chevron frame on the front flap. This bag is in beautiful condition for its age.
