The sculpted, wave-form grip was designed by noted industrial designer Thomas Lamb and is stamped with his handle patent, number 3,122,774, the same patented design used across the full run of vintage Cutco kitchen knives from this era. The whisk head is formed from a coiled stainless steel wire loop rather than the usual balloon style wires, a design that is excellent at breaking up lumps in gravy and sauces, whisking eggs, and blending frozen juice concentrate.
