This gorgeous pair of antique amber and European Silver earrings is from the Arts & Crafts period (1880-1920) 😍 The large oval cabochon stones are genuine Baltic amber with a rich cognac color. Unique and natural inclusions are visible when they catch the light. They are bezel set in an intricate silver setting that showcases the beautiful craftsmanship and free form botanical style that is characteristic of the period. The earrings are stamped 825, also known as European or Continental Silver. This silver alloy has 82.5% pure silver along with other metals, usually copper, nickel, or zinc, for strength.
