Ruffian (1972–1975) was an undefeated American Champion filly who won 10 consecutive races, setting records in all eight stakes wins. Leading at every point of call, she achieved legendary status. She was euthanized after breaking down in a 1975 match race against Foolish Pleasure, later being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Pin is approximately 2 1/4” in diameter. It’s brown, green with a white/off-white background. Preowned and in clean condition on face. The back is in vintage condition and does not take away anything from this lovely piece.
